Hublot Oceanographic Exo 4000 is a watch from the Antikythera collection, which is fully dedicated to the diving. Exo 4000 was created in the Exosuit motif. Exosuit is a big turn in the underwater exploring. It protects from the effects of a pressure and also provides an easy work at depths up to 305 meters for hours.
The whole Antikythera collection is made specially for diving. Oceanographic Exo 4000 is super durable watch with the impressively high water resistance of 400 ATM (4000 meters). Despite the watch looks severely and hugely, in fact it is lightweight, because of the King Power case made of titanium and a carbon fiber. The weight is really important, especially when exploring water depths. The carbon fiber bezel is screwed by 6 H-shaped titanium screws. Finally, the Oceanographic Exo 4000 is equipped in a helium valve - a fundamental feature in a diving watch. Helium valve allows gases that penetrated a watch during the drop to escape during an ascent in the water.
It also presents 42 hours of a power reserve.
And eventually a dial, the most important part of the watch. Oceanographic Exo 4000 had to be designed exceptionally, with a view of being legible and clearly visible in a distance of 30 cm in the deep darkness. To meet all of the requirements, a hands, indexes and a diving scale luminescent surface has been enlarged. Mat black dial provides good contrasting with the luminescent parts. A date window found its place at 3 o'clock. In result, we get the perfect watch for diving. At the front we can find a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. A "diver" strap for this watch is a combination of a rubber and nylon and it's longer than a standard strap. A buckle has been fitted to be used easily.
