PANERAI – LUMINOR 1950 LEFT-HANDED 3 DAYS

Panerai watches  in '50 years enjoyed a reputation especially among Italian soldiers. Name Luminor comes from the glowing substance which allowed to read the time in dark lighting conditions. I do not know what these Panerai watches are in themselves such, what makes them so interesting.

Maybe its unusual simplicity of classic design combined with the perfection of the finishing?

New Luminor watch is driven by Calibre P.3000 mechanism, manufactured  completely by Panerai. Power reserve is 3 days. The mechanism is hidden under the 47 millimeter envelope made of stainless steel. Functions of the watch kept to a minimum - hours and minutes. Front  of the watch is covered with 3 millimeter layer of  Plexiglass, back of the watch is protected by sapphire glass. No seconds hand, and sapphire glass on the front for some lovers of timepieces may be a little off putting. The watch is designed to be worn on the left wrist. Black dial with clear, luminous indices. Water resistance is 100m.

The price of the watch along with various accessories is $ 10,600
